Leadership In Uncertainty is one of those recurring threads.
The archive shows a consistent distinction between certainty and clarity. Leaders cannot manufacture certainty about an unknowable future, but they can provide direction, create room for learning, make difficult choices and help people retain agency.

You would have been really disappointed in the tether wire necessary for longer-lasting battery power.

Solar energy - the infrastructure at least - has become desperately cheap and tremendously productive, and we are missing such a big opportunity.

And it had a profound impact on my life. It’s probably fair to say that if I hadn’t read it, I wouldn’t have stepped out on my own to start my own company, chase my own career, do my own thing - and become a global freelancer, a nomadic worker, a lone wolf, long before the trend became real and the idea fashionable.

The future is not merely something to forecast. It is something people have to live through. Adaptability therefore depends on emotional durability, curiosity, optimism, willingness to learn and the courage to act without perfect information.
