After all, if you go through the show, much of what they predicted is already a part of our life today - I guess they didn’t expect the future to happen so quickly. And yet, there are also warning signs - what we do right now has a good chance to destroy the world that the Jetsons might find themselves in. I allude to both these issues while on stage.
There is no doubt these children will live in a fascinating, wonderful world if we do the right things. A child alive today? What types of travels might he have in the future? Will she actually go to space? Will she be able to time travel? Will he have virtual reality travels that are incomprehensible today?
The simple fact is – there is a child alive today who will do the amazing science fiction like things that we find unimaginable – and yet which they find routine!

You’ll get caught in a rut in the road to the future if you don’t seek out the individuals who can give you a more creative path to find your way there! And you certainly know it’s true that if you keep listening to the same old people saying the same old things, you’ll end up doing the same old things.
Find unusual people, hang out with them, follow them, study them. That’s because while the usual suspects will tell you the same old things - unusual suspects will tell you new things. The usual suspect will suggest the same course of action they suggested before - unusual suspects will already be on to the next undefined course of action. The usual suspects will give you the old answers to your curiosity questions - the unusual suspect will give you a quizzical look, not even comprehending how it can be a question. The usual suspects will think pretty small, their minds being a vessel for mediocrity - while the unusual suspects think in terms of big, bold, brash ideas.

Most major shopping malls of today won’t fulfill that function tomorrow - they’ll be something else altogether. We don’t yet know what.
