Hit. The “computers on wheels” phrase has since become so common it is almost a cliche — which is exactly the point. In 2026, a modern vehicle is a distributed computing platform that happens to have wheels, and the legacy manufacturers spent the last decade painfully relearning themselves as software companies, often badly, exactly as I warned they would.
