In 2026, Apple, PayPal, Square, Stripe, Klarna, Robinhood and a thousand fintech startups all sit inside the financial stack. Buy-now-pay-later, open banking APIs, and a checkout button that is quietly a loan — finance got embedded into everything, exactly as I warned community bankers it would.
