What is being graded
The record covers 7 calls spanning 2017–2026. The purpose is not to manufacture a perfect record. Calls that were early, partial or wrong remain visible alongside the hits.
The forecasting lesson
The scorecard separates two questions that are often confused: Was the direction right? and Was the timing right? In many industries the technology curve moved as expected while adoption, economics, institutions and human behavior changed the calendar.
